Good day now the US economy is abruptly installing tariffs on metals in an attempt to revive the metal markets in the US which will create many more jobs which helps the GDP in the economy. Question what is the overall purpose and why now? Many argued this was catalyst that brought the metal down. No volatility just down where it is today. It's seems normal from an economic perspective of what the US administration is doing. Imposing a tax not only gets attention but the extra monies coming in for the reluctant that stay with the current flow of business can benefit the tarrifing nations. The question why now and what for. Well jobs for one. To build new war machines and simply to make money in a forgotten market that may see itself reviving through artificial intelligence. The question is the amount fixed and will everyon be under the same umbrella? Will this action raise enough revenue to satisfy the plan of the US administration. Or could a bland import quota have been a better solution. Either way steel markets may get hot and see volatility. One thing for certain the domestic producer is better protected today in the US economy. Thank you.
